Facilities Technician

Responsibilities

• Configure operating ranges for equipment including air conditioning, emergency plants, compressors, vacuum pumps, and chillers
• Maintain plant utility supplies such as electricity, potable water, chilled water, nitrogen, and HVAC systems
• Perform medium and low voltage electrical installations, lighting maintenance, and motor connections
• Manage the supply of nitrogen, compressed air, vacuum, and chilled water
• Execute repairs and preventative maintenance on air conditioning units, chillers, and compressors

Requirements

• Technical degree completed in industrial electricity or a related field
• 3 years of experience in plant engineering operations
• Proficiency using technical tools such as anemometers, luxmeters, hydrometers, thermometers, tachometers, thermographic cameras, and flow meters
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Availability to work various shifts/schedules
