Facilities Technician

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and perform in-house repairs throughout the facility
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Install office fixtures and perform routine assignments such as moving furniture and equipment
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and equipment breakdowns for cleanup
• Diagnose malfunctions in electronic units and systems by testing components and circuits
• Align, adjust, and calibrate equipment and testing instruments according to specifications
• Maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests
• Enter data into computers to manage schematics or program electronic components
• Oversee emergency system backups and ensure all facility systems remain functional

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance
• High school degree or higher
• Proficiency with mechanical and electrical tools, including power air guns, taps, dies, and alignment tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Developed computer skills and knowledge of AutoCAD
• Ability to work independently
