Facilities Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/safety equipment
• Perform hands-on repairs for electrical wiring, lighting, plumbing leaks, drywall, painting, and door hardware
• Monitor and operate Building Automation Systems (BAS) and mechanical equipment
• Act as the primary contact for facility emergencies, including fire alarms, power outages, and leakages
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance
• Manage general building upkeep, including carpentry, furniture assembly, and swimming pool servicing
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and tool inventories using CMMS
• Ensure facility compliance with all health and safety regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 8+ years of professional experience as a plumber, electrician, mechanical technician, or in facilities maintenance
• Proven technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or automation systems
• Ability to lift 40+ Kg and climb ladders up to 5m
• Valid manual driving license
• Fluency in both Greek and English (verbal and written)
• Availability for on-call duties (two weeks per month) and rotating weekend/holiday shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or building maintenance
• Multiskilled expertise across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, and mechanical)
