Facilities Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair general functions of buildings and grounds
• Perform maintenance and janitorial duties
• Set up and clean up for dynamic tests, including running cables and placing crash barriers
• Transport test articles and materials to test locations
• Clear yard of weeds and debris
• Operate diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Support test teams in setup and execution

Requirements

• Basic construction and mechanical skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions year round
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience
• Plumbing and electrical knowledge
• Welding experience
