Facilities Technician 2

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on powered industrial equipment and conveyor systems
• Maintain building equipment including air compressors, heating/ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Perform welding repairs as needed
• Communicate repair status and operational implications to Facilities Manager and Operations leaders
• Lead and coordinate project work for warehouse daily operations and building projects
• Maintain CMMS, work orders, and inventory management
• Train junior team members using on-the-job training techniques

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in a similar role
• Experience in diagnostic troubleshooting and mechanical equipment repair
• Proficiency with computers for work orders and email
• Ability to operate powered equipment including yard trucks, forklifts, and maintenance vehicles
• Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Flexibility to work overtime, off-shifts, and weekends
• Ability to lift and carry tools/products weighing 5 to 60 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• Ability to troubleshoot and program PLCs
• MIG and Stick welding skills
• Driver's License
• Black Seal NJ Boiler License
• NJ Electrical License
• NJ HVAC License
• EPA Technician 608 Certification
