Facilities Technician 2

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electro-mechanical systems within a distribution center environment
• Perform planned preventative maintenance on facility equipment, office furnishings, and automated technologies like conveyors, printers, and compressors
• Provide electrical support for facility systems including power feeders, transformers, and AC/DC drives
• Execute general building maintenance such as basic electrical projects, light construction, and exterior clean-up
• Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to manage maintenance and upgrades
• Manage work orders and maintenance tasks using CMMS programs

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical, HVAC, electrical, or a combination of these fields
• Experience troubleshooting control systems ranging from relay logic to microprocessor-based controls
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, UPS systems, and air handling units
• Knowledge of LOTO and OSHA regulations
• Experience using CMMS programs such as Maintenance Connection
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs
• Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7 operation, including nights, holidays, and on-call shifts
• Ability to work at heights using ladders, scissor lifts, and fork trucks
