Facilities Technician 1

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair facility equipment and automation equipment within the Dream Fulfillment Center
• Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance and repairs to powered industrial equipment and conveyor systems
• Perform repairs on building equipment including air compressors, heating/ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Perform welding repairs as needed
• Communicate repair status and operational implications to Facilities Manager and Operations leaders
• Maintain CMMS, work orders, and inventory management
• Lead and coordinate project work for warehouse daily operations and building projects

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience in a similar role
• Experience in diagnostic troubleshooting and mechanical equipment repairs
• Proficiency with conveyor control systems software
• Ability to operate yard trucks, forklifts, and maintenance vehicles
• Computer proficiency for work orders and email
• Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Flexibility to work overtime, off-shifts, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• Ability to troubleshoot and program PLCs
• MIG and Stick welding skills
• Driver's License
• Black Seal NJ Boiler License
• NJ Electrical License
• NJ HVAC License
• EPA Technician 608 Certification
