Facilities Technical Design Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection and analysis from various systems to identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop resolution plans for buildings, equipment, systems, processes, and procedures
• Make technical recommendations and implement improvements to site infrastructure
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for facilities hardware, software, and systems
• Coordinate and process complex customer requests related to buildings and equipment
• Define, design, and plan projects, including potential coordination of project teams
• Maintain configuration control for data, processes, equipment, and documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with building electrical and mechanical systems
• 3+ years of experience in a facilities engineering or contractor role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• 3+ years of experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) such as Trane, Honeywell, Andover, Schneider Electric, or Johnson Controls Metasys
• Ability to travel 20% domestically

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Robotics)
• 5+ years of experience with programmable logic control (PLC) hardware
• 5+ years of experience with equipment reliability or machine troubleshooting
• 5+ years of experience supporting building lighting and environmental controls
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit software
• Experience with Andover Controls Continuum or Schneider Electric EcoStruxure
