Facilities Support Services Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain institutional equipment to support campus operations and event support
• Clean, maintain, and disinfect interior and exterior components of college facilities
• Provide moving and delivery services, including organizing warehousing and campus storage
• Move and reset furniture for routine setups and events based on provided diagrams
• Follow protocols for the safe cleanup of substances containing bloodborne pathogens
• Perform maintenance and care of campus grounds, including mowing, weeding, and snow removal

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience
• Ability to read and interpret floor plans and event diagrams
• Professional communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Physical ability to lift, bend, twist, kneel, and climb ladders
• Availability to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years experience in custodial, floor care, or maintenance trades
• Experience driving large vans or box trucks
