Facilities Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direct the work of subordinates
• Ensure all preventative facilities tasks are performed as per schedule
• Coordinate with all departments to maintain, repair, and upgrade facility equipment
• Implement corrective and preventative maintenance techniques
• Install and repair plumbing, electrical, electronic, and mechanical applications
• Schedule and supervise machine repair and maintenance activities
• Manage services provided by contractors and vendors
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for scheduling and documentation
• Select, coach, and develop facilities staff
• Coordinate with Process Engineering, Product Development, and Quality Assurance for continuous improvement

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of related experience with supervisory and contractor management skills
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of facility equipment and quality control in food manufacturing
• Ability to manage capital projects (HVAC, Boilers, Chilled water systems, etc.)
• Required knowledge of HVAC systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Safety training and oversight experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs
