About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide general maintenance, troubleshooting, and operations support for facility equipment including electrical, conveyor, and automated robotic systems
- Measure voltage and current accurately to troubleshoot circuits
- Perform mechanical alignment on bearings, shafts, and drives, and adjust belt and chain tension
- Develop and execute maintenance schedules based on device requirements
- Troubleshoot network systems, cabling, I/O devices, and RS232/RS422 communications
- Maintain and configure IBM compatible computers and peripheral devices
- Work with outside contractors and vendors on specialized repairs
Requirements
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (1+ year in facilities engineering preferred)
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting with 460, 220, 120 VAC and 24-volt DC circuits
- Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic, and troubleshoot PLC functions
- Experience with pneumatic circuits involving cylinders and solenoid valves
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and climbing
- High school diploma or equivalent
