Facilities Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance, troubleshooting, and operations support for facility equipment including electrical, conveyor, and automated robotic systems
• Measure voltage and current accurately to troubleshoot circuits
• Perform mechanical alignment on bearings, shafts, and drives, and adjust belt and chain tension
• Develop and execute maintenance schedules based on device requirements
• Troubleshoot network systems, cabling, I/O devices, and RS232/RS422 communications
• Maintain and configure IBM compatible computers and peripheral devices
• Work with outside contractors and vendors on specialized repairs

Requirements

• 0-2 years of relevant experience (1+ year in facilities engineering preferred)
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting with 460, 220, 120 VAC and 24-volt DC circuits
• Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic, and troubleshoot PLC functions
• Experience with pneumatic circuits involving cylinders and solenoid valves
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and climbing
• High school diploma or equivalent
