Facilities Specialist I

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations, maintenance, and repair activities for company facilities
• Track and maintain facility equipment and vehicle fleet records
• Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely manner
• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
• Support inspection and maintenance activities for fire life safety systems
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely in accordance with OSHA requirements
• Maintain accurate records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to support maintenance activities

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in general maintenance, facilities, or fleet maintenance
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or fire life safety
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, plans, and basic schematics
• Ability to identify maintenance issues and troubleshoot routine problems
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Ability to support occasional after-hours emergency response or on-call needs
• Ability to clear a US government background check for on-site work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting fleet management or vehicle maintenance coordination
• Equipment operator certification
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Experience working independently and as part of an operations team
