Facilities Specialist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose maintenance problems and troubleshoot laboratory equipment including chillers, shakers, and pumps
• Maintain and repair electronic and mechanical components of Lab/HVAC equipment
• Perform emergency machine repairs and rebuild machinery campus wide
• Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and mechanical problems
• Read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
• Schedule work orders using maintenance management software
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations including ISO, OSHA, FDA, and EPA

Requirements

• High school diploma with 3+ years in a facility or maintenance role
• Experience with HVAC, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform manual tasks
• Ability to work flexible hours including Tuesday - Saturday (9am - 6pm)
