About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair physical building systems, grounds, and industrial equipment to support daily production requirements
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing, heating, water, and sewer systems
  • Perform electrical maintenance and repair work, including installing control circuits, wiring, and conduit (up to 3 phase 480V)
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions, analyze failures, and determine necessary adjustments
  • Repair fabrication, CNC, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
  • Weld and use electrical meters to perform technical repairs
  • Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with company safety standards
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to estimate time and materials

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial experience, including work as a maintenance mechanic or technician
  • Proficiency in welding and the use of electrical meters
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
  • Ability to work emergency shifts and required shift work
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, crouching, and crawling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Trade school certification or equivalent technical training
  • Working knowledge of Lean systems and tools
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and procedures
  • Prior leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
