About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair physical building systems, grounds, and industrial equipment to support daily production requirements
- Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing, heating, water, and sewer systems
- Perform electrical maintenance and repair work, including installing control circuits, wiring, and conduit (up to 3 phase 480V)
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions, analyze failures, and determine necessary adjustments
- Repair fabrication, CNC, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
- Weld and use electrical meters to perform technical repairs
- Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with company safety standards
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to estimate time and materials
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial experience, including work as a maintenance mechanic or technician
- Proficiency in welding and the use of electrical meters
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- Ability to work emergency shifts and required shift work
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, crouching, and crawling
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade school certification or equivalent technical training
- Working knowledge of Lean systems and tools
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and procedures
- Prior leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
