About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical equipment supporting fab and lab operations.
  • Maintain critical systems including HVAC, vacuum pumps, air compressors, dryer systems, and sump pump systems.
  • Oversee process cooling water distribution, acid exhaust/scrubber systems, and makeup air handling units.
  • Execute new tool installations and perform startup permit verification signoffs.
  • Perform lockout tagout procedures and safely work with various chemicals and gases.
  • Identify team needs for process, tool, and documentation improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with platform architects and systems groups to define specifications based on system requirements.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to individual contributors in lower-level roles.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent commensurate work experience.
  • 6-8 years of related work experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment maintenance.
  • Proven experience with lockout tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.
  • Ability to work safely with chemicals and gases.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AutoCAD Certification.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling or CAD software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Revit, or CATIA).
  • Experience with architectural drawing and engineering design processes.
