Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and landscaping requirements
- Clean and sanitize various areas including restrooms, dining areas, golf courses, and kitchen spaces
- Empty trash receptacles and safely operate a trash compactor
- Maintain all areas by sweeping, mopping, deck brushing, dusting, and pressure washing
- Monitor inventory and replenish supplies
- Report maintenance needs and hazards to a supervisor immediately
- Complete maintenance checklists and assist with storm preparedness
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and employees
Requirements
- Previous experience in a facilities or janitorial role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Experience safely handling cleaning products and chemicals
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach for long periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 lbs
