About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan space utilization and facility use to ensure organizational efficiency and optimal use of available funds.
- Direct and manage all phases of equipment maintenance, machinery upkeep, and facility modification projects.
- Lead projects from initial design concepts through to implementation, ensuring all requirements are clearly defined.
- Negotiate contracts and contract changes, establish operating budgets, and identify financial terms and conditions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for facility activities, equipment maintenance, and project management.
- Monitor project performance regarding cost, schedule, and technical requirements, establishing milestones and developing solutions for resource allocation or scope changes.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required for this position.
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience, OR a Master's Degree and 1 year of relevant professional experience.
- Equivalent experience accepted: NNS Apprentice School graduate, Navy Nuclear Power School graduate, Associate's Degree with 2 years of relevant exempt experience, Military Paygrade E-5 or above, or High School/GED with relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, or trades experience.
- Ability to work 2nd shift.
- Experience in facilities management or project management.
