About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a small maintenance team to ensure high standards of equipment upkeep
- Maintain the facility and all machinery to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Perform hands-on general maintenance including painting, decorating, and plumbing
- Proactively identify and resolve faults with machinery and facility infrastructure
- Liaise with team members and guests regarding any facility or equipment issues
- Plan and organize workloads effectively to ensure smooth center operations
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising or leading a team
- Strong general DIY skills, including plumbing, painting, decorating, and non-electrical maintenance
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Good IT, literacy, and numeracy skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexibility regarding working hours to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment
