Facilities Manager

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day facilities and services to ensure the office remains reliable and well-maintained
• Oversee cleaning, maintenance, waste management, pest control, and landscaping
• Ensure proper functioning of building and security systems and coordinate repairs
• Support low to medium complexity fit-out projects
• Monitor and resolve Zendesk tickets within established SLAs
• Manage facilities budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and operational expenditure
• Partner with internal teams to support events and space preparation
• Provide support to TechOps for AV and IT infrastructure maintenance
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and maintain audit-ready documentation
• Support local sustainability initiatives and report environmental metrics
• Act as the primary escalation point for facilities issues in the Barcelona office

Requirements

• Proven experience managing building operations and hard/soft services
• Strong vendor management and contract management skills
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of Spanish legal requirements for maintenance and compliance
• Ability to manage budgets, invoices, and purchase orders independently
• Experience with workplace ticketing systems and SLA management preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading or supporting fit-out and space configuration projects
• Familiarity with managing multi-vendor building environments
