About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool, sauna, and mechanical systems
- Maintain interior and exterior areas to brand standards and manage detailed maintenance logs and schedules
- Serve as on-site contact for basic IT and AV support, including Wi-Fi, printers, and conference room technology
- Coordinate with external IT providers for escalated issues and system upgrades
- Plan and execute facility projects, including repairs, renovations, and upgrades, managing budgets and timelines
- Supervise maintenance, janitorial, security, and facilities support teams
- Source, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts for cleaning, security, waste removal, and landscaping
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; conduct inspections and maintain certifications
- Monitor utilities and implement improvements for energy efficiency and sustainability
Requirements
- Experience in facilities management within a high-end hospitality or service environment
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
- Proven ability to manage vendors, contracts, and third-party service providers
- Familiarity with basic IT and AV troubleshooting and building management systems
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with a solutions-driven mindset
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations
