About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day facility operations including custodial, life-safety, engineering, and general maintenance.
  • Manage vendor contracts, ensuring regular reviews, competitive bidding, and accurate invoice processing.
  • Oversee maintenance programs for both interior and exterior property conditions.
  • Respond to tenant and occupant requests promptly to ensure high service levels and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate site-specific documentation, including safety logs, compliance logs, and emergency manuals.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and capital expenditure plans.
  • Hire, train, and motivate facility personnel while conducting performance evaluations.
  • Monitor compliance with insurance requirements for all tenants and vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Project Management, or Business Administration.
  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial high-rise, campus, or property portfolio management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read and understand construction specifications and blueprints.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CMMS or Work Order Management systems.
  • Industry certifications such as CFM (IFMA) or BOMA.
  • Experience in leasing, construction, or engineering.
  • Knowledge of financial systems like Yardi.
  • Experience managing critical system environments.
