About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day facility operations including custodial, life-safety, engineering, and general maintenance.
- Manage vendor contracts, ensuring regular reviews, competitive bidding, and accurate invoice processing.
- Oversee maintenance programs for both interior and exterior property conditions.
- Respond to tenant and occupant requests promptly to ensure high service levels and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate site-specific documentation, including safety logs, compliance logs, and emergency manuals.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and capital expenditure plans.
- Hire, train, and motivate facility personnel while conducting performance evaluations.
- Monitor compliance with insurance requirements for all tenants and vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Project Management, or Business Administration.
- 5-7 years of experience in commercial high-rise, campus, or property portfolio management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to read and understand construction specifications and blueprints.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CMMS or Work Order Management systems.
- Industry certifications such as CFM (IFMA) or BOMA.
- Experience in leasing, construction, or engineering.
- Knowledge of financial systems like Yardi.
- Experience managing critical system environments.
