Facilities Manager

Responsibilities

• Own daily operations of design, manufacturing, and test/proto sites, including facility upgrades
• Manage contractors and vendors end-to-end including quotes, scheduling, and quality
• Run preventative maintenance, safety compliance (OSHA, fire, hazmat), and site readiness
• Drive small-to-mid capital projects from requirements to commissioning
• Support site transitions, deployments, and standing up new spaces
• Build operational systems such as ticketing, PM schedules, and vendor tracking
• Partner with the Head of Facilities on capital projects and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 5+ years in plant/facilities operations, ideally in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing
• Hands-on fluency with industrial electrical, compressed air, and building systems
• Ability to work with building drawing sets and create proposals for contractors
• Track record managing trades and contractors in an active production environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting propulsion or engine manufacturing/test operations
• CMMS experience or EHS certification
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, ASME, OSHA, and IBC/CBC codes and permitting
• Electrician, HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, or Construction certifications
• Lifting and rigging experience
