Facilities Manager

Responsibilities

• Implement the overall facility management strategy for Amgen India, ensuring reliable and safe delivery of laboratory support operations.
• Manage third-party Integrated Service Providers (ISPs) to ensure work aligns with GFO strategy and meets SLAs and performance metrics.
• Oversee budget and financial management, including budgeting, purchase order management, and contract management.
• Lead emergency management and business continuity efforts in collaboration with EHSS and Security.
• Support the implementation of chemical management programs and other lab support services such as consumables inventory management.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in a lead role delivering Facilities management within a large multi-national organization, OR
• Graduate degree with 12 years of experience in facilities management, security, EHSS, or capital construction, OR
• Master's degree with 10 years of experience in similar highly operational roles.
• Proven experience with third-party ISP performance management.
• Strong budget and financial management skills.
• Knowledge of EHSS requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the life sciences industry, including familiarity with laboratory and manufacturing regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in supplier management, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
• Knowledge of facilities work order management systems and maintenance planning.
• Familiarity with Telangana labor laws and regulations.
• Experience driving productivity through operational excellence and continuous improvement techniques like Lean or Six Sigma.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
