Facilities Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and respond to facilities faults logged via the FM Helpdesk
• Carry out repairs and maintenance to building fabric, services, fixtures, and grounds
• Maintain site roads, paths, and car parks, including seasonal gritting and snow clearance
• Perform general landscaping duties such as mowing, weeding, and pruning
• Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks, including fire alarm testing and data recording
• Oversee and manage external FM contractors to ensure compliance with EHS policies
• Conduct daily inspections of buildings and grounds to identify and prioritise maintenance activities
• Support office moves, including the relocation of furniture and equipment

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• High attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
