Facilities Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify repair needs and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Troubleshoot technical problems and implement efficient solutions to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts usage, and service schedules
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and resolve building system issues
• Ensure strict adherence to company protocols and safety regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3–5 years of facilities maintenance or related technical experience in a commercial or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, and mechanical components
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals
• Proficiency with maintenance tools and basic computer skills for recordkeeping
• Ability to work an onsite schedule in Miami, FL (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST)

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification in HVAC, Electrical, or Facilities Maintenance
