About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
- Inspect facilities and equipment to identify repair needs and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Troubleshoot technical problems and implement efficient solutions to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts usage, and service schedules
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and resolve building system issues
- Ensure strict adherence to company protocols and safety regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3–5 years of facilities maintenance or related technical experience in a commercial or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, and mechanical components
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals
- Proficiency with maintenance tools and basic computer skills for recordkeeping
- Ability to work an onsite schedule in Miami, FL (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST)
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification in HVAC, Electrical, or Facilities Maintenance
