Facilities Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine corrective and preventive maintenance across the facility, including fixtures, furniture, and light mechanical/electrical systems
• Support building systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and compressed air
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing fixtures, valves, water heaters, and leaks
• Perform minor electrical repairs including lighting, receptacles, switches, and breakers
• Maintain mechanical systems such as pumps, fans, compressors, motors, and gearboxes
• Support pneumatic and compressed air systems including regulators and filters
• Assist with installation, relocation, and assembly of facility equipment and workstations
• Maintain accurate documentation of work orders and troubleshooting in ticketing systems
• Respond rapidly to day-to-day employee facility needs

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or industrial maintenance
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Understanding of safety practices including JHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work including climbing ladders
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience repairing motors, pumps, compressors, and drive systems
• Certification or experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, or boom lifts
• Familiarity with Jira, Slack, or Google Workspace
• Basic fabrication and carpentry skills
