About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure all safety equipment like fire extinguishers and emergency lighting meet building codes
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on buildings and service equipment
- Maintain records for company vehicles and equipment maintenance performed by tradespersons
- Coordinate annual maintenance and inspection of engine generators
- Establish maintenance procedures for facility fabrication and assembly equipment
- Manage disposal procedures for environmentally sensitive materials
- Manage janitorial, cleaning services, scrap materials, and recycling
Requirements
- 4-6 years in Facilities Management
- Forklift certification and training authorization
- Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field or equivalent work experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled shop/warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
