Facilities Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry tasks including structural repairs to trailers, cabinetry adjustments, and door/hardware maintenance
• Execute minor plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging lines, and replacing fixtures within portable units and restroom trailers
• Perform installations and preventative maintenance on rental bathroom and tool trailers
• Use laptops, tablets, and mobile devices to create, assign, monitor, and document work orders
• Maintain complete and timely electronic documentation of all work performed
• Follow safe job practices and OSHA requirements
• Participate in year-round company-provided OEM training

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active applicable state class driver's license
• Mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of plumbing, basic carpentry, and facility diagrams
• Own tools applicable to the position
• Ability to travel out-of-state for the majority of the week (70-85% travel)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, stooping, and bending
• Must pass a background check and 10-panel drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction knowledge and background
• Experience with portable toilet facilities or modular buildings
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements
