About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform general carpentry tasks including structural repairs to trailers, cabinetry adjustments, and door/hardware maintenance
- Execute minor plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging lines, and replacing fixtures within portable units and restroom trailers
- Perform installations and preventative maintenance on rental bathroom and tool trailers
- Use laptops, tablets, and mobile devices to create, assign, monitor, and document work orders
- Maintain complete and timely electronic documentation of all work performed
- Follow safe job practices and OSHA requirements
- Participate in year-round company-provided OEM training
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active applicable state class driver's license
- Mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of plumbing, basic carpentry, and facility diagrams
- Own tools applicable to the position
- Ability to travel out-of-state for the majority of the week (70-85% travel)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, stooping, and bending
- Must pass a background check and 10-panel drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction knowledge and background
- Experience with portable toilet facilities or modular buildings
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
