About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform building inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, Fire/Life/Safety, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical systems
  • Conduct repairs for building structures including roofs, parking lots, truck gates, docks, and high-speed rollup doors
  • Manage the light bulb disposal and recycling program
  • Maintain facilities support equipment such as aerial lifts, portable emergency generators, and various tools
  • Perform monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency lights, and fire/domestic water lines
  • Manage assigned maintenance workorders in MicroMain to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain departmental records including safety training, preventive maintenance reports, and site inspection logs
  • Identify cost savings opportunities for in-house versus outsourced labor and manage maintenance supplies

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience with knowledge of general equipment maintenance practices and safety precautions
  • High School diploma or equivalent, or completion of a Technical/Trade School
  • Working knowledge of standard building trades, tools, and equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical bulletins and equipment schematics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and general computer skills
  • Ability to stand and work for the duration of an assigned shift
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move 25+ lbs throughout the shift
