Facilities Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and operate facilities infrastructure including HVAC, boilers, compressors, and deionized (DI) water systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and document activities in CMMS software.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective parts to restore operations with minimal downtime.
• Maintain chart recorders and log books within a GMP-regulated environment.
• Lead Maintenance Associates, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the department.
• Oversee spare parts inventory, asset commissioning, and disposal.
• Participate in rotating "On Call" duties for after-hours emergencies and refrigeration alarms.
• Assist with Capital Improvement Projects by coordinating contractors and prepping work areas.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in facilities maintenance (or an Associate degree with 5+ years of experience).
• Strong knowledge of pneumatics, boilers, and standby electrical generation systems.
• Proficiency in three-phase electrical wiring and plumbing.
• Experience with DI water generation systems.
• Proficiency using CMMS software, temperature monitoring software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working in a GMP environment.
• Previous experience within a facilities or plant maintenance organization.
