About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and operate facilities infrastructure including HVAC, boilers, compressors, and deionized (DI) water systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and document activities in CMMS software.
- Troubleshoot and repair defective parts to restore operations with minimal downtime.
- Maintain chart recorders and log books within a GMP-regulated environment.
- Lead Maintenance Associates, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the department.
- Oversee spare parts inventory, asset commissioning, and disposal.
- Participate in rotating "On Call" duties for after-hours emergencies and refrigeration alarms.
- Assist with Capital Improvement Projects by coordinating contractors and prepping work areas.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 6+ years of experience in facilities maintenance (or an Associate degree with 5+ years of experience).
- Strong knowledge of pneumatics, boilers, and standby electrical generation systems.
- Proficiency in three-phase electrical wiring and plumbing.
- Experience with DI water generation systems.
- Proficiency using CMMS software, temperature monitoring software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience working in a GMP environment.
- Previous experience within a facilities or plant maintenance organization.
