Facilities Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs across building systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and fix plumbing issues including leaks, fixtures, and piping
• Handle basic electrical work such as outlets, switches, lighting, and minor wiring
• Complete drywall repairs, patching, and painting to maintain facility appearance
• Support carpentry and light fabrication projects
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and work orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment in compliance with FDA and OSHA standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of facilities maintenance or related experience preferred
• Working knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical systems, drywall repair, and painting
• Basic fabrication skills including cutting, assembling, and modifying materials
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot problems independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC systems troubleshooting or light maintenance
• Forklift or heavy equipment operation experience
• Familiarity with Maximo or other maintenance tracking systems
