Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assign, and monitor the daily work of maintenance staff to ensure timely task completion
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a team of semi-skilled employees
• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks as needed to support team operations
• Coordinate responses to critical system issues, including after-hours calls
• Partner with planners to ensure CMMS and work order reporting is accurate and effective
• Procure materials and services in accordance with corporate procurement policies
• Ensure compliance with all corporate safety standards and documentation requirements
• Manage vendor relationships, including the scheduling and coordination of external contractors

Requirements

• Five (5) years of experience in skilled facilities, building, and grounds maintenance and repair
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience
• Experience working with CMMS systems
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and control schematics
• Strong safety background with leadership and mentoring experience
• Ability to work non-standard shifts, including weekends, holidays, and after-hours emergency response

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Maintenance, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
• Facilities Management Professional (FMP) certification or similar credential
• Experience with specific CMMS platforms such as SAP, Maximo, or Asana
• Proven ability to manage vendors and coordinate complex maintenance activities
