Facilities Maintenance Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and preventative maintenance
• Support space planning, office reconfigurations, and furniture moves
• Manage inventory of facility supplies and equipment
• Respond to employee requests regarding temperature control, lighting, and minor repairs
• Support emergency preparedness activities, including fire drills and evacuation procedures
• Perform minor repairs, general upkeep, and assist with warehouse equipment maintenance
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in a facilities, maintenance, or service support role
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
• Troubleshooting and repair skills with various types of equipment
• Knowledge of hand and power tools
• Knowledge of OSHA and lock out/tag out procedures
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work at heights, including using ladders, scissor lifts, and climbing in a warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating various power equipment
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, millwright, or HVAC trades
• Vocational qualifications in a related field
