About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage maintenance schedules for direct reports and external contractors
- Manage inbound work order requests and effectively delegate tasks to dedicated teams
- Drive team performance by setting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Supervise facilities projects to ensure they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards
- Assist the Head of Facilities Management in reviewing repair proposals and evaluating completed work
- Recommend mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications to improve efficiency
- Implement audit and control systems to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and policies
- Lead the facility management team to ensure optimal building appearance and operations
- Prepare consolidated reports regarding budgets, expenditures, and purchase orders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Class A high-rise multifamily residential buildings
- Working knowledge of Mechanical and Fire Systems
- Proficiency in English
- Experience using Google Chrome and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Spanish
- Knowledge of project planning tools such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360, Bluebeam, or SketchUp
