Facilities HVAC Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repairs, and preventive/predictive maintenance on all equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot malfunctions using electrical, HVAC, and mechanical principles
• Conduct visual inspections of equipment to detect malfunctions or needs for lubrication and adjustment
• Implement process improvements on facility systems
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work overtime as needed

Requirements

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HVAC systems (chillers, heat pumps, window units)
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic processes
• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical repairs
• Knowledge of generators, air compressors, and dryers
• Ability to use power tools, measuring devices, and hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Universal refrigerant certification or other HVAC related certifications
• Associate's degree in industrial maintenance, HVAC, or related field OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to drive a forklift
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
