About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing assets and reliability engineering programs through root cause analysis and asset lifecycle management.
- Develop and implement asset maintenance plans to prolong equipment lifespan, collaborating closely with FacOps and reliability assessments.
- Perform spare parts assessments to determine critical spares and recommended stock levels to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Conduct reliability assessments and analyses to identify potential failure modes and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop and advance Reliability Engineering KPIs to improve equipment reliability and data-driven decision making.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics to analyze data, predict potential failures, and identify design improvements.
- Generate and maintain Reliability Engineering reports to support compliance and regulatory activities in accordance with GMP guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in Facilities Engineering or a related specialist occupation.
- Demonstrable experience executing Reliability Engineering tasks, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on systems and equipment.
- Experience with reliability assessments, understanding failure modes, and conducting spare parts assessments.
- Proven ability to develop and mature reliability engineering KPIs in line with industry standards.
- Knowledge of Good Engineering Practices (GEP) and GMP guidelines.
