Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot facility electrical systems including branch circuits, feeders, and motor controls
• Perform wiring per NEC requirements and follow NFPA 70E safety procedures
• Support mechanical systems such as HVAC, compressed air, process piping, and pumps
• Respond to facility work orders and diagnose root causes for equipment breakdowns
• Coordinate with contractors on tenant improvements, tie-ins, and inspections
• Maintain facility documentation including as-builts, PM schedules, and equipment logs
• Travel to Sacramento (20-30%) to support manufacturing facility MEP needs and commissioning

Requirements

• 3+ years hands-on electrical/MEP experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70E and NEC standards
• Ability to read electrical schematics, one-lines, and panel schedules
• Experience with hand tools and troubleshooting equipment like multimeters and megohmmeters
• Ability to work at heights, in tight spaces, and around energized equipment
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• New Product Introduction (NPI) support experience
• Mechanical/electrical assembly experience including wire harnessing
• Manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance experience
• Exposure to PLC/HMI controls
