About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the design, troubleshooting, analysis, and installation of analyzers, electrical power distribution systems, PLC control, and field measurement instruments.
- Develop instrumentation, control, and electrical discipline deliverables including control philosophies, Cause and Effects diagrams, P&IDs, and electrical one-line diagrams.
- Manage the management of change (MOC) process for instrumentation, controls, and electrical design packages.
- Deliver I&E engineering construction work packages by collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Technical functions.
- Participate in and contribute to safety reviews such as HazOps and HazAn.
- Provide technical guidance, equipment troubleshooting, and recommendations to improve I&E engineering tools and work processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of on-site based facility experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E.) from a recognized/AICTE university.
- 5-10+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemicals industry.
- Proven experience executing both greenfield and brownfield projects in onshore, upstream, oil and gas facilities.
