Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Research facility equipment specifications and performance requirements to define designs compatible with existing manufacturing methods
• Evaluate engineering proposals and technical data regarding industrial machinery and equipment design
• Define the feasibility of designing new plant facilities or modifying existing ones, considering costs, space, and technical factors
• Provide technical information regarding manufacturing techniques and process limitations to support long-range planning
• Compile research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment
• Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform complex engineering tasks
• Guide projects and lead project teams through facility development cycles

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field or equivalent experience
• Advanced proficiency in English
• Expertise in one or more areas: clean rooms, RO/DI water systems, compressed gas distribution, vacuum systems, or process chillers
• Experience in cGMP industry manufacturing, preferably within Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals
• Experience with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Process) discipline construction
• Knowledge of Fault/Root Cause Analysis and Review (FRACAS)
• Strong understanding of utilities including steam, cooling media, heating media, water systems, and compressed air
