Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HT & LT power distribution systems, including substations and switchgear
• Manage installation and preventive maintenance of power transformers, ACB/MCCB, and protection systems
• Perform hands-on maintenance of DG sets, VFDs, PLC/SCADA systems, and associated control panels
• Oversee fire protection and detection systems to ensure statutory compliance and reliability
• Maintain critical utilities including air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, and HVAC systems
• Support Water Treatment Plant (WTP) operations and water distribution systems
• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure equipment uptime
• Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures, and statutory regulations (Electricity Act, Factories Act)
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed engineering college
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Utility Operations and Maintenance within industrial or manufacturing environments
• Deep knowledge of HT & LT power systems and industrial electrical infrastructure
• Practical experience with DG sets, VFDs, and PLC/SCADA systems
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and permit-to-work systems
• Ability to work in a 24x7 continuous operating environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting the commissioning of brownfield or greenfield projects
• Familiarity with energy management and automation systems
• Knowledge of HIRA, HAZOP, and root cause analysis (CAPA)
