Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee building and grounds maintenance, repairs, and facility upgrades
• Manage cleanroom environments, including temperature and humidity mapping and validation protocols
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, GMP/MDD, and ISO requirements
• Coordinate with external vendors for building maintenance and landscaping services
• Develop and implement facility emergency plans and evacuation procedures
• Monitor HVAC systems and oversee building security in coordination with IT
• Manage facility-related projects, including office system installs and furniture planning
• Identify and implement cost-saving projects for energy and maintenance efficiency
• Handle administrative facility tasks including invoice processing and space planning
• Manage facility maintenance technicians and community relations with local government

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor's degree (Engineering degree preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in facility engineering or building management
• Working knowledge of architectural, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet tools
• Working knowledge of financial principles, leases, and contracts
• Ability to work effectively within a highly regulated manufacturing environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
