Facilities Director

Responsibilities

• Oversee general maintenance of Cedar Park, Hutto, and Burnet locations
• Manage maintenance and custodial staff to ensure a pristine facility
• Repair and maintain branch interior, exterior, and equipment
• Coordinate work with 3rd party maintenance service personnel
• Perform limited plumbing, electrical, equipment, and structural repairs
• Oversee the Aquatic Center including plumbing, HVAC, and lighting systems
• Supervise all employees in Custodial and Maintenance departments
• Provide support for District special events through pre-event setup and tear down

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Working knowledge of new construction, remodel projects, and roofing systems
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, and carpentry projects
• Ability to pass reference checks, drug screen, background check, and sex offender registry check

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, construction, emergency repairs, or roofing
• Supervisory experience
• CPO Certification
