Facilities Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage overall facility maintenance and routine building repairs across multiple regional sites.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and locksmith tasks.
• Execute unit turnover tasks including drywall patching, carpet cleaning, and cabinet repair.
• Maintain grounds through landscaping, snow removal, and seasonal upkeep.
• Oversee and provide hands-on training for Facilities Technicians.
• Coordinate with external vendors and subcontractors for specialized repairs and estimates.
• Perform daily custodial duties and maintain common areas to ensure cleanliness.
• Manage digital work orders and maintain accurate maintenance logs and paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with HUD Facility and Fair Housing Regulations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regional travel.
• Proven knowledge of janitorial, custodial, and general maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in basic electrical, carpentry, and plumbing repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and move heavy furniture or equipment.
• Proficiency with smartphones and computers, including email and digital calendar management.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and read technical manuals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in facility maintenance.
• Experience in employee supervision or team leadership.
