Facilities and Safety Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment for co-workers, visitors, and customers
• Conduct scheduled and reactive inspections on property equipment and systems
• Manage building services to ensure they remain in optimal operational condition
• Follow up on scheduled maintenance according to the 5-year Maintenance Plan
• Evaluate maintenance problems and agree on service delivery solutions
• Supervise pest control programs to maintain a pest-free building
• Contribute to the effective operation of Health and Safety policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in facilities maintenance within a retail environment
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills
• Technical expertise to operate and control PC-based equipment
• Ability to read systems and write simple reports

Preferred Qualifications

• License in Engineering
