About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment for co-workers, visitors, and customers
- Conduct scheduled and reactive inspections on property equipment and systems
- Manage building services to ensure they remain in optimal operational condition
- Follow up on scheduled maintenance according to the 5-year Maintenance Plan
- Evaluate maintenance problems and agree on service delivery solutions
- Supervise pest control programs to maintain a pest-free building
- Contribute to the effective operation of Health and Safety policies, procedures, and standards
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in facilities maintenance within a retail environment
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills
- Technical expertise to operate and control PC-based equipment
- Ability to read systems and write simple reports
Preferred Qualifications
- License in Engineering
