Facilities and EHS Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage operational risks following the hierarchy of controls and ensure compliance with legal requirements and SBD policies.
• Coordinate emergency response brigades and the Occupational Health and Safety Commission.
• Conduct investigations into workplace incidents and illnesses, reporting cases using OSHA and local IMSS criteria.
• Develop and monitor the annual maintenance and facilities plan to ensure functionality of installations and furniture.
• Oversee the cleaning program, including the coordination of pest control and cleaning supplies.
• Manage the correct handling, transport, and final disposal of hazardous, non-hazardous, and special waste.
• Supervise site renovations, remodeling, and construction projects.
• Manage budgets and oversee 3PL operations across two sites (80% distribution center and 20% office).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an EHS-related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Facilities and EHS within an operations environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety and hygiene standards, including OSHA and local legal frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Intermediate English reading skills.
• Experience in delivering training and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP (GR).
• Experience managing large-scale facility operations or distribution centers.
