Facilities and EHS Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage operational risks following the hierarchy of controls to ensure safety.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and company EHS policies.
• Coordinate emergency response brigades and the workplace safety and hygiene commission.
• Conduct investigations into occupational incidents and illnesses using OSHA and local criteria.
• Develop and monitor the annual maintenance and facilities plan.
• Oversee the functionality of facilities, furniture, and cleaning programs.
• Manage the correct handling, transport, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Supervise facility services including pest control and cleaning supplies.
• Manage budgets and oversee renovations, remodeling, and construction projects.
• Coordinate with 3PL operations across two sites (80% distribution center, 20% office).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an EHS-related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Facilities or EHS within an operations environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety and hygiene standards, including OSHA and local legal frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Intermediate English reading skills.
• Experience in delivering training and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using SAP (specifically GR).
