Facilities Administrator

Responsibilities

• Manage and track work orders for staff and contractors using CMMS
• Administer computer rooms, including condition monitoring and preventive maintenance
• Coordinate with IT on data center electrical installations and fire safety systems
• Oversee contracted services such as janitorial, HVAC, electrical, and security systems
• Conduct periodic facility walkthroughs and maintain equipment logs
• Create and maintain CAD drawings of facilities and grounds
• Manage receiving operations, distribution, and building supply inventories
• Support annual capital replacement projects and corporate safety programs

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years related experience in construction or building maintenance
• Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, UPS, generators)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows environments
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Basic ability to use CAD software
• Valid New York State operator’s permit and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA and NYS DOL regulations
• IFMA or BOMA Facilities certification
• OSHA General Industry Outreach Trainer certification
• Experience with Automated Logic BMS or Lutron Quantum Lighting
