Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the construction projects team, including workflow organization, resource planning, and team development.
• Plan and coordinate all construction measures from initial concept to execution planning, ensuring compliance with technical and legal frameworks.
• Oversee project management and construction execution with responsibility for deadlines, costs, and quality.
• Manage the awarding of contracts and procurement for planning and construction services, including conducting tenders.
• Supervise construction, perform project controlling, and ensure proper documentation and acceptance of services.
• Coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including authorities, experts, and EHS officers.

Requirements

• Completed degree in engineering or comparable professional training.
• Multi-year experience in the planning and execution of construction projects, ideally within an industrial or high-hazard environment.
• Profound knowledge in controlling costs, schedules, and quality.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and procurement procedures, specifically HOAI and VOB.
• Knowledge of immission control law.
• Strong communication skills, empathy, decision-making ability, and a sense of responsibility.
