Facade Specialist

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and stakeholders to integrate facade systems into building designs
• Review and assess facade design proposals for compliance with local building codes and standards
• Conduct thorough construction inspections to verify correct installation of facade elements
• Review contractor documentation including shop drawings, material submittals, and calculations
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates regarding design and construction
• Troubleshoot facade-related challenges and address design discrepancies promptly
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients and project teams
• Stay informed on industry trends, new materials, and innovative facade solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in facade design or construction supervision
• Proficiency in relevant design software and technical tools
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
